Just Christmas Cards was born from a simple idea: what if we could combine the latest AI technology with the timeless joy of sending Christmas cards? As someone who has spent a lifetime creating music for the holidays, I wanted to bring that same warmth and creativity to visual greetings.

The platform you're using today was built entirely with Claude Code, an AI coding assistant that helped transform this vision into reality. Every card you create is generated using cutting-edge AI models from Google Gemini and Ideogram, ensuring each design is unique and beautifully crafted.

Our mission is beautifully simple: to bring smiles. We believe that sending a personalized Christmas card should be easy, accessible, and—most importantly—joyful. That's why we've made our cards free and incredibly simple to share.

About the Founder: Jools Scott

Jools Scott

Chief Elf, Composer, and Pianist

As Just Christmas Cards' Chief Elf, Jools combines a lifelong passion for Christmas music with modern AI technology to create unique digital experiences that bring smiles worldwide.

I began my musical journey as a choral scholar at St Paul's Cathedral, where I had the privilege of performing alongside renowned musicians like Evelyn Glennie and Simon Rattle. I went on to study composition at the Royal Academy of Music, which laid the foundation for my professional career.

Over the years, I've composed music for major clients including Netflix and the National Theatre, working across diverse genres from choral music and film scores to opera, musical theatre, and video game soundtracks. My work has been praised for its rich instrumental writing and accessibility, with influences from composers like Vaughan Williams and Britten.

But Christmas music has always held a special place in my heart. After years of composing and performing holiday music—including recording over 800 personalized birthday songs with 16 different artists for my previous project, Sing Me Happy Birthday—I wanted to create something that captured the same joy and personalization for Christmas.

How It's Built

Just Christmas Cards represents the perfect marriage of human creativity and artificial intelligence. The entire platform was developed with Claude Code, Anthropic's AI coding assistant, which helped bring this vision to life faster and more efficiently than traditional development methods.

Every card you create is generated on-demand using AI, which means your design is truly unique. We process your photos through our background worker system, applying the latest AI models to transform them into beautiful, personalized Christmas cards.
